Installation

Installation of BlogSphere is quick and easy however if you are upgrading from a previous version then you should read the Upgrading section of the wiki for the upgrade guide.

To create a new BlogSphere based blog all you have to do is download the latest version of BlogSphere from the OpenNTF website and then unpack the template into your Lotus Notes data directory.

After unpacking the template file you will need to sign it with an ID file that has the rights to run agents on the server where you will be hosting your blog. Once it's signed you create a new database based on the template, just like you would any other database.

When the database is first opened the installation wizard will automatically start, this wizard will assist you in filling out the correct information to get your blog up and running quickly.
